The Impact of Fiscal Policy on the Economy
Assignments are designed to apply or analyze a concept or concepts from the text and outside resources. It is advised that students dedicate no less than ten hours weekly preparing the assignment. All weekly assignments will be 1,000 words at a minimum.
Weekly Assignment Papers MUST follow APA format, with citations where warranted.
All students MUST use the APA 7 templated provided in the course.
Your textbook should always be used, cited and included as a reference.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate:
Demonstrate an understanding of the ways people produce, consume, and exchange goods and services.
Demonstrate an understanding of the effect of supply and demand on a traditional microeconomic model.
Identify and explain the characteristics of labor markets.
Final
For this assignment, students will reflect on the course learning outcomes listed above. The following components should be addressed in your research paper:
Write a paper on a topic of your choosing on a contemporary economic policy debate, applying Mankiw’s Ten Principles of Economics in your evaluation of this debate. If you cannot find a topic, the instructor can suggest ideas.
You will use the textbook as your guide, but you will also use outside research. Your essay should be 1,000 -1,200 words in length and should include at least five citations. Follow the guidelines for APA writing style. The sections should be clearly marked with headings, so your instructor knows which points you are addressing. The title page and reference page do not count towards the minimum word amount for this assignment.
