Military strategy

Please read the below post and answer the question at the end
——————————————–

Military strategy has been around for thousands of years (e.g. Sun Tzu) and many academic textbooks cover examples of military strategy (e.g. Kotler) to express how a business can take on competitors (e.g. via flanking manoeuvres).
I am a fan of military strategy and its application in the workplace. For me the key difference between military strategy and business strategy is that military strategy usually involves two sides that are aiming for total victory at the expense of the other whereas, in the business world there are usually more than two players and everyone can improve their position without annihilating the opposition (especially in a growing market). Also, as Keller (2008) points out, in business there are a lot more laws in place.
Can anyone think of any practical applications of military strategy in business?
