Informed consent(social work)
For the 2-3 page paper, learners will be required to define informed consent. After forming a definition, find the sections in the Alberta College of Social Worker’s (ACSW) Standards of Practice and the Canadian Association of Social Worker’s (CASW) Guidelines for Ethical Practice that relate to informed consent. In your own words, explain what is required by the ACSW and CASW to provide full informed consent. The paper must be in APA format with a title and reference page which do not count towards the 2-3 page requirement.
In a separate document, create a sample informed consent document. For the purpose of the assignment you are a diploma level social worker who works in a small non-profit organization. Clients in crisis come in to talk with social workers and get assistance accessing resources for basic needs in the community.
