Legal and Ethical Issues in Assessment

This week you read about the historical foundations of assessment; sources of assessment; and ethical and legal issues related to assessment. For this discussion, pay attention to the issues that may impact test scores. Consider how you would explain these issues to clients. Also, consider the legal and ethical challenges related to testing.

Discussion: For your main post, discuss some of the types of tests you have taken in your lifetime. For what purposes were the tests given? How were the test results used?. What type of feedback did you get about the results? If you were the assessment professional, how would you have explained the process/issues differently? Be sure to cite your points using the learning resources. You may also use other scholarly literature to support your discussion.
