Drug Addict Testimony
Directions:
1. Watch the assigned TED Talk lecture entitled “Lessons a Drug Addict Can Teach You. The link is found in module 5
2. Write a 2 page Reflection Paper (double-spaced, 12 pt, 1 inch margins)
3. Include three (3) separate, well- developed paragraphs/sections.
Write a paragraph responding to EACH of the following:
A. Summarize the key points of the video. (write an overview, do not list or bullet ideas)
B. Describe how the content of this video is relevant to this course and your
intended profession.
C. Discuss insights have you gained from the material. Explain how the
video influenced your thinking on the topic. You may include your thoughts on potential application, connection to your personal knowledge or experience. NOTE: Do not express your feelings toward the video or whether you “liked it” or “learned a lot” from it. Instead, use critical thinking skills to RESPOND to the topic/content. of the video.
4. To ensure consideration of maximum points earned, papers should represent quality writing reflective of a 400-level course and be free of grammatical and spelling errors.
