Jason is a complex and important character in the novel, The Sound and the Fury, by William Faulkner, who might on the basis of his actions alone be considered evil or immoral (but there is more to it, such as symbolism, connotation, etc.). In a well-organized essay, explain both how and why Jason presents as a villainous vampire figure and show how it enhances the meaning of the work as a whole.
