Worship of Old Israel and Christian Worship Today

What are the main similarities and differences between the worship of Old Israel and Christian worship today, as you know it? The tabernacle and the worship rituals were set up to emphasize God’s holiness and the need for worshipers to be cleansed and forgiven to enter His presence. Do you think Christian worship, as you have experienced it, still emphasizes these themes? How or how not?
