Virtual Museum: The Industrial Revolution

Select one of the prompts below and create a virtual museum to go along with your topic of interest. Be sure to support your response with appropriate evidence and examples from our readings, or other reliable sources.

A virtual museum can be done in Powerpoint Slides and should be 7-10 slides in total. You can include pictures, embed short videos, or create your own visual concept in an effort to answer ONE of the prompts below. There is room for personal choice and interests so feel free to create a virtual museum based on something that you enjoy! Keep slides short and informative and cite anything that you quote. Consider what information is MOST important, just like if you were at a museum!

What did labor and worker’s rights look like during the Industrial Revolution?
How did the average worker live and what did communities look like?
How were women and children able to contribute to the Industrial Revolution?
Choose an important innovation of the Industrial Revolution that interests you and tell me about that invention and its evolution.
