: Investigate the following areas of healthcare in both countries:
Health financing for coverage: How does the country finance health coverage?
Essential Medicines and Health products: How does the country identify essential medicines and health products? What is provided in the essential coverage.
National Health Policies: What control doe the government have- what type of national policies concerning an individual’s health?
Health Workforce: How does the coverage affect the health workforce? Education requirements and costs? Control over the care provided? What is the opinion of the health workforce of the coverage?
Health statistics and information systems: How is health information stored and shared with in the system?
Service delivery and safety: How are the services delivered? Are they equitable and timely to all? What are the ethical concerns related to delivery? Is the care integrated? Cost effective?
In the paper you will
Compare and contrast
Healthcare of the country you selected to explore with that of the United States in each of the above areas: Financing, Essential Medicine and Health Products, National Health Policies, Health Workforce, Health statistics and information systems, Service delivery and safety.
After analyzing the different information; imagine you had the responsibility to create a universal health plan that includes financial risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all.
Which areas would you adopt from which country, Why?
Finally: Provide a brief summary of what you believe needs to be in a universal health plan with clear statement of whether that that health plan could and should be utilized in the United States.
