Theory of Organizational Leadership and Change
There should be two sections to this paper 1) Theory of Organizational Leadership and Theory of Organizational Change
Each student will develop a personal theory of organizational leadership and change. This paper is an “idea” paper and should provide a unique view or theory of organizational leadership from the students’ perspective. The student may consider a different application of a leadership theory or combine two or more leadership theories.
Additionally, the paper should address how the student would systematically implement change in an organization. This Theory of Leading Change should be unique and not be the same as one we studied/discussed in class. The student should research other change theories or successful change management strategies and create his/her own plan for leading change.
This paper will count as the final project; therefore, the submission should be a polished, final product. The information created for this assignment could potentially be used in a future interview for a leadership position. The students should think about this paper as explaining how he/she would lead and organization.
The paper should be between 5-8 pages (double-spaced, 12-point font). Since this is a personal theory of organizational leadership and change, the student may use first person (I) in the paper. However, the paper should be written in a formal manner rather than in an informal or conversational way.
