7. Each citation is followed by a brief (usually about 150-200 words) descriptive and evaluative paragraph—this is known as the annotation. The purpose of each annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the source cited. Annotations include the following elements:
Summary/Analysis: mention the article’s main ideas and analyze its general argument.
Evaluation: evaluation of the article’s effectiveness, with a brief explanation of how the source is relevant or useful to your research paper topic idea.
For the citation for each source, carefully follow the MLA format provided by the Purdue Owl.
As with all your submissions, this is a formal assignment that should be submitted using MLA format for style, spacing, heading, pagination, etc. Your final response should be at least 500 words.
