I would like you to watch the following talk given by Robin Wright in 2015 to the World Affairs Council of Oregon and write a response. The video may be found at:
Please watch the entire talk in which Wright discusses several key trends, places and challenges in the Middle East. Of these diverse considerations, I would like you to focus on two countries discussed by Wright, discussing the challenges faced in those countries, the key changes under way and the actors affected by or contributing to those challenges/trends. In cases where the trends or challenges are particularly negative, I would also like you to discuss challenges to achieving conflict resolution. I would then like for you to discuss how Wright feels about the future in the Middle East, including her vision for the region.
