Make sure the body of the paper has an introduction and conclusion.

I need a reflection on Nurses Day at the Capital. Talking points.

It was good to hear the governor and representatives talk about how important how nurses are to our society.

I learned it is very important how you use your word when talking to legislators about health policy issues.

I learned there are 4 field officers throughout the state that are eager to work with nurses on health policy issues.

Representative Dan Sullivan spoke about freedom of scope of practice for nurses.

I also learned we are 1 of 7 states that don’t recognize APRN’s as primary care providers.

It was good to learn about the defeated attempts to change practices and licensures of APRN’s.
Another bill that was recently passed was concentrated on removing the word supervisor for CRNA’s

I liked to face to face contact more than the online discussion posts. However, the online discussions are very convenient.

3 Issues that are on the agenda are:
Nursing staffing issues.
Workplace violence
Medicaid PCP for APRN’s
