Reaction Essay
: You must watch this 76-minute lecture by Dr. Randy Pausch entitled: The Last Lecture: Achieving Your Childhood Dreams. Then write a 500-1,000-word REACTION essay on his lecture. Dr. Pausch was a distinguished professor at Carnegie Mellon University in PA. He passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2008.
REQUIREMENT: “Reaction Essay” means how does this lecture touch you? What did you learn from his lecture? In your reaction essay, you will tie in your thoughts, feelings, and reaction to Dr. Pausch’s lecture but also how his lecture ties into the last unit of this course. You choose which theory to tie the lecture too. An example might be using Dr. Elizabeth Kubbler-Ross’s Stages of Death and Dying Theory. You MUST type your essay in a word document and upload it as an attachment in this drop box no later than by 11:59 pm on the day they are due (April 28). If you do not have word and need to create them in another program – YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for converting it to a PDF file then, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
