The Problem

  • What’s the problem?
  • Is this a serious problem?
  • How often does this problem happen each month? (Very often, sometimes, rarely, from time to time)?

The Potential Customer

  • Who is facing this problem?
  • Is there a single customer segment/group or are there multiple ones?
  • Which segment you believe is most important to target first (early adopters that would love to try the solution first)?
    • How can you reach them (e-mail, Facebook, Twitter , or where)?
  • Contact 10 different potential customersand learn about the problem that you are trying to solve from their perspective. A sample interview request.

The Proposed Solution

  • What is your solution to the problem?
  • If your solution is innovative, demonstrate why.
  • How did you know that this solution is the right solution for the customer? If you got feedback from potential customers or experts in the field discuss them here.
  • What are the appropriate channels to launch first (Website/Web App, iOS App, Android App, Instagram)? Explain why?

Personal Elements

  • What experiences or skills are needed to turn this idea into a full working business?
  • Which of the above mentioned experiences or skills do you have that can enable you to turn this idea into a business
  • Which of the above mentioned experiences or skills do you LACK and need someone else to fulfil?

 

 

 

Feasibility

  • Based on the defined course reference book, do an extensive research on the various feasibility factors and assessments (expected 2-5 pages at least with good analysis).
  • When discussing competitors, mention direct competitors (national or regional) and in-direct competitors.
  • List existing services that are similar or in a close field that you could learn from to improve your product. For example, when thinking about an e-commerce product, you may wish to learn from Amazon and Souq.com by listing what they are doing well (to learn from)and what they are doing bad (to avoid).

Business Model

  • Build a business model for your idea.
  • Use different colors for each customer segment while reflecting and using the same color in other blocks for elements connected to the same customer segment.

Business Goals To Digital Marketing Goals & Tactics

  • Define the key business goals.
  • Define the key digital marketing goals that are aligned with the business goals. You can pick from the digital marketing goals within the slides.
  • Define a number of tactics (activities) that you will do for each digital marketing strategy/goal to help you achieve your business goal.
