Practice Concern/Problem Statement/PICOT Assignment
A problem statement is a short, succinct explanation of a clinical, educational, or administrative problem you identified and a proposed solution to the problem. Before you write your problem statement, think about the problem and your proposed solution, and be prepared to back it up with facts. To write a persuasive problem statement, you need to describe (a) the current situation (b) the “ideal” situation, and (c) the consequences if the problem is not fixed.
