America today

Paragraph three- Communism

  1. Soviet Union was trying to spread their ideas of communism around the world, as the same time the U.S. was trying to spread their form of government.
    1. The Truman doctrine
  2. The red scare- how is the red scare still used today (Origins of the cold war)
  3. The fear of another world war III, happened both while soviet Union and America fought for their ideas for government moved; this also occurs today with America to fight to seize North Korea
  • Conclusion- restate thesis: America still feels threatened that Communism will spread because of North Korea. They are slowly trying to make peace with North Korea in hopes that they will kill off communism.
    1. America is currently trying to end communism in North Korea as they tried to with Soviet Union
