Part 1. -Analyze the New Teacher mentor program in your school and district. Write a summary of your analysis. This should be in paragraph form and written at a graduate level. Please be sure to check grammar and punctuation.

How is the support provided and feedback given?
Who all is involved in mentoring?
How are mentors selected and what training is provided?
Are there specific descriptions of the roles and responsibilities of mentor teachers?
How much time is given for mentors and mentees to collaborate/reflect?
Are mentors required to maintain simple logs or journals that document conferences and other professional development activities involving themselves and the mentee?
Does the program provide mentors with a stipend, release time from extra duties, or additional opportunities for professional growth?
How is your principal involved in the mentor program?
Part 2. Describe how you would create or enhance the New Teacher support system for your school.
