Article “Rethinking Marketing.” Answer the following questions:
ü What should be the new roles of a CMO?
ü What should be the roles of a Customer Manager in a customer-cultivating company?
ü What are new customer metrics companies should focus on?
ü Assignment: Interview a marketing manager of a company. Questions: what are his/her
responsibility? To whom s/he reports? How s/he run marketing activities in the company? How s/he measure his/her marketing performance? Prepare a 1-2 pages write-up to discuss the role and scope of marketing in the company. Read article “Rethinking marketing” before doing this homework. Compare what you learn from your interview and what you learned from the article in your write-up.

The assignment is in two parts, so the first part would be on a separate page from the latter part of the assignment. I have attached the article that the assignment is based on and it should be used as a reference, but not the only one.
