Instructions:
Read chapter 11 section 1 (pages 301-305) in your textbook and make notes on the “good life” of living/visiting Constantinople. You want to entice people to visit or live in this city.

Your Role: You are a travel agent

Your Audience: People from the area around Rome (after the fall of the Western Roman Empire)

Your Format: Write a brochure for a travel agency c.700AD.

Your Topic: Create a brochure to encourage people to visit the city of Constantinople in the Byzantine Empire around the year 700AD.
Include all the following:
Government structure and law code to ensure your visitors feel safe. (page 301 – Justinian)
Sites to see – describe the city and things to see or do. (end of page 302 and all of 303)
Health warnings – you don’t want your visitors to catch a disease unaware. (page 304)
Local religion. (pages 304-305)

Format, grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation count! Use a template and add photos. I have included one but you may choose a different one from your computer. Be creative!
