This week you are learning about case-control and cross-sectional studies. For your discussion this week, please find an article about an infectious disease (preferably an emerging one, but not required) that affects humans and is a case-control or a cross-sectional study and explain the study to the class. Be sure to tell us the type of study and why it belongs to that type. Alternatively, you may find a case study about an emerging infectious disease and explain that to the class. A case study is a description of one or a few cases of a disease and how they occurred and in whom they occurred.
