Hurricane Katrina, and Public Health Preparedness
Write about two national-level policy reforms that occurred in response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and two national-level policy reforms that occurred in response to Hurricane Katrina. Next explain how the national-level policy reforms you described influenced, and continue to influence, public health preparedness and response at either the federal, state, or local levels. Then identify and describe three offices or organizations that evolved or were established in the aftermath of 9/11, and their relationship to public health preparedness and response.
Essay must be 400–650 words (not including references). Essay should be written in standard, edited English and follow APA guidelines for reference citations.
