A clear theme
A dystopian hero who recognizes the flaw in society and fights against it
Descriptive Dialogue- but not too much
Imagery based setting that mirrors emotion of plot
And 1-2 allusions to another text/source (Preferably Fahrenheit 451)- that helps to develop your character

Critique of contemporary society should be based on racial indifferences/injustices
