Cultural Critique: A cultural critique should convey your unambiguous stance on an issue and should suggest a novel way of addressing the issue. In other words, you should propose an alternative approach or way of looking at a problem, drawing from a blend of evidence and experience. If you do not have direct personal experience with the issue, you may want to draw from other sources—in the form of research, statistics, expert opinions, interviews, podcasts, or other discourse—to present an intriguing theory or course of action that may be either unpopular, overlooked, or unexplored. You are in essence critiquing culture through the lens of your convictions
