Community profile project

I chose the International Rescue Committee (IRC) as my community because it provides an option for people who need help after coming to the U.S. and I think it is an important resource that people may not know about. The IRC has over 11,000 staff members and helped 26 million people in 2018. As my intended readers are those who have left their countries, this organization could be a valuable research for those who need help. Readers who are also looking for a community to join may find the IRC a good organization to join in order to help refugees, immigrants and people who have come to the U.S. I plan to interview staff members of the IRC as well as people who have been helped by the IRC in order to hear from both sides, while doing research on the community such as looking at their website.
