Book review on the book Religion and Politics in the United States

Instructions for Book Reviews: Each book review should be 4 to 5 pages in length. As I read your review I want to see evidence that you: 1)have read the book and grasp its contents, 2)can situate the findings of the book within the broader field of political science, 3)can evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the book, and, 4)can communicate the first three points in a well written, effective manner. Please remember that a “book report” focuses only on element number 1. A book review critiques the text rather than summarizes it. Also, make sure your book review has a thesis that pulls together all 4 concepts in a clear, concise manner. If you wish to see an example, access Perspectives on Politics in our library. You can also access the most recent edition of the journal on line. Be sure to scroll down until you see the heading “book reviews.” I uploaded an example in the Resources tab.
Style requirements for all written assignments:
Times New Roman
12 point font
1” margins
Double-spaced
Title page containing your name, date, assignment, course name and number, instructor name
Reference page is required if you cite other work.
If you include references you may use any style with which you are familiar.
