Article critique

Article Critique: Students will be required to locate and read one current, professional journal article concerning workers compensation, and then write a three-page critique of the article. Students are encouraged to utilize EKUs library resources to find the article for this assignment. In addition to providing an APA style citation at the end of the critique, the critique should discuss/summarize: 1) the authors background and/or perspective; 2) main points of the article; 3) the students reaction to the articles main points; and 4) support for the students reactions/critiques. Students are encouraged to reflect on information covered in the class that is pertinent to the article. The critiques should be typed, double-spaced, no larger than 12 sized font, and one-inch margins all around.

Students may be asked to present/discuss their articles in class. This presentation should be three minutes or less.

Students should consult the tentative course schedule for the article critique due date.

Objective: Evaluate students ability to expand current knowledge of workers compensation, and utilize course learning to analyze current literature in the field of study.
