Paper Six: People Analytics: Beauty or Beast?
Purpose: You have spent several weeks studying the use of people analytics in Human Resources. Now it is time to show what you know as a one-page summary. To do this, you are going to use the SWOT (Strengths – Weaknesses – Opportunities – Threats) format.
Process: Consider what you have learned about the general use of HR analytics in application to your selected company.
Where has your research shown that it is strong (Strengths)?
What are weaknesses with using analytics?(Weaknesses)?
What are things that could/should be done but are not – think of things that can be done to address Weaknesses (Opportunities)?
What may be technological, environmental, economic, political, social factors that have the potential for harm (Threats)?
To save space, you will want to footnote/endnote your citations.
Product: Upload your one-page SWOT analysis, with citations. You may use whatever SWOT format you wish, as long as it remains on one page (with at least 10 point type).
