After reviewing this week’s module and using the module materials only (with citations) to provide evidence:
1. Define the factors that contribute to the ‘second act’ i.e. the time after retirement or between work and complete retirement
2. Compare the ‘second act’ with the negative stereotypes of older adults as dependent, in need of assistance, having limited abilities etc.
3. Associate the second act with work patterns among the 65 population
4. Analyze the second act in terms of purpose and meaning in later life
5. Apply your knowledge of work and retirement patterns in later life to the opportunities and challenges that the second act may bring
6. Argue for or against retirement as a time of opportunity.
