Please note that this is a research, and not an opinion, paper, and your assignment is to examine how social media has impacted as aspect of American culture.

You have a lot of leeway in selecting your preferred aspect of American culture that you want to examine. Some of the choices for you to select from include: political discourse, politics in general, formal education system, customs/traditions, language, interpersonal communication, social communication, religion, economic system, arts, and literature. You can also select a sub-section of any of these topics, e.g. the impact of Facebook on American culture, or how it has impacted an aspect of American social values, etc.

In your paper, you should look at how social media has penetrated this aspect of American culture and how it has redefined its practice in American society. You should consider whether social media has made our cultural values better or worse or if it has re-oriented our perception and practice of the cultural value.

The first step is to select your preferred research topic and then you can start the research process for the paper. I will be happy to discuss your selected topic with you, for additional guidance, if you wish.

Your paper should reflect a well-reasoned understanding of the assignment and must demonstrate evidence of research. You must also use either the MLA or APA style in your writing and in the documentation of references.
