: What was the Significance of Quakerism, Methodism and Pietism to modern church history?
This in class presentation will be evaluated on the following five criteria:
a. clarity/coherence (are the
findings highlighted in the presentation expressed clearly and in a logical manner?)
b. scope (does the presentation deal with the topic in a
sufficiently comprehensive manner?)
c. precision/accuracy (does the presentation focus on the truly important issues related to the topic at hand, and do so in an accurate manner?)
d. relevance (does the presentation attempt to demonstrate the significance of this topic not
only for modern church history but also for contemporary Christian life and ministry?)
e. creativity/execution (how creative was the PowerPoint presentation, and was it presented smoothly without major glitches?).
Also, please keep the following practical matters in mind:
1.Excellent presentations tend to be those in which:
a. each individual member’s presentation is
accurate, coherent and interesting, providing helpful feedback toward it becoming even more so;
b. all of the PowerPoint slides have a uniform appearance;
c. the slides do more than merely quote directly from presentation resources
(some quotations are OK);
d. the font size on the slides is large enough to be read from everywhere in the room
e. the presentation doesn’t go over or under the time parameters prescribed.
