Dissociative Disorder

Watch a movie or tv show that involves a mental disorder (examples include Fight Club, A Beautiful Mind, Girl Interrupted, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Sybil, Split, As Good As It Gets, and many more movies or TV shows like Bates Motel).

Give a brief synopsis of the movie/show, a description of the character that exhibits the disorder as well as the criteria he/she meets for that disorder (use specific examples of behavior from the movie!), describe how the disorder was portrayed (was it consistent with the book’s description?), and compare and contrast at least two types of therapy that you think may help the character (psychoanalytic, behavioral, humanistic, etc.).
The paper should be as long as is necessary for you to complete the above tasks (I’m guessing at least 3-4 pages).
