What is your company’s core competency? (Use facts such as comparison with
competitors and other possible data to demonstrate why you believe so).
o Based on the chosen core competency, answer these questions:
▪ Is this core competency valuable?
▪ Is it rare? (compare other companies in that regard)
▪ Why is hard for other to imitate it? Use one or a combination of these
factors to explain inimitability: Path dependence, Causal ambiguity, Social
