Research news databases for two articles reporting on civil lawsuits on behalf of victims. Write a 1 to 3-page essay that includes the following:
1. Details of the cases.
2. Descriptions of the victories and defeats of the litigation.
3. Details about any third-party defendants.
4. Reflection: in the cases that you reviewed, do you think court and emotional costs outweighed the benefits of taking a dispute to court? Do you think the victims and/or victims’ families are being revictimized in civil court?
