Instructions
Assignment #4 – Reducing Project Duration
Step One:
Use the data below, hand draw an AON network diagram and calculate Forward Pass, Backward Pass, Slack Time and Critical Path. Clearly identify your critical path.
Step Two:
You have only 16 days to complete this project.  What is the least cost solution to achieve completion in 16 days?
Redraw a second AON network diagram by hand showing completion of the network in 16 days and calculate Forward Pass, Backward Pass, Slack Time and Critical Path(s).
Step Three:
What is the least cost increase to achieve the 16 day duration?  Hand write your calculations. Show your calculations to arrive at the least cost increase to complete in 16 days.

Activity           Preceding      Duration        Max Crash            Slope
ID                Activity           in Days          Time                         .

G                     D,E,F               5                       1                 $70

Step Four:
Submit the two hand drawn AON networks diagrams (Steps 1 and 2) along with your hand written calculations your name and signture,
Scan them and place them in a Word document, and submit them to the the Dropbox.
*Please ensure your handwriting is legible.
