Scholarship Extension Letter
The first letter stated the expected graduation which is Dec. 2019. So, this new letter should emphasize what was stated in the old letter dated May 31, 2018. The new letter should mention that we are still making good progress and the plan has not changed.
The new letter should mention the difficulties we faced and how we manged them.
– We developed new algorithms and conducted extensive experiments in Amazon servers. We compared the new algorithms with other algorithms and baselines, but unfortunately the results were not convincing to be published in top-tier conferences and journals. So, we had to improve and redesign our algorithms and run them. This caused our work publication to be delayed until all results are ready for publication since once experiment requires several hours.
Here is the old letter. It has to be extended and make it more convening. Please mention that we scheduled our proposal to be in April 2019 and the defense in Fall 2019.
