There is a great chance where I can travel to China to take summer lab course which is a Chemical engineering lab and The university will give this opportunity to a few students. I want you to help me write a letter to convince the university that I am eligible for this important opportunity.
The question is “please explain why you want to travel to China to attend this course. Please be as expansive as possible, including how you think you’ll benefit from the experience.
Here are some points to mention when answering the question:
- I am a chemical and biological engineering student. I am international student from the UAE studying in the USA. So since I am an international student, I live in a foreign country for couple of years, meaning that I am able to adopt the Chinese culture easily.
- I am financially able to handle the cost of the course and all other living expenses
- I want to build an exceptional CV and career. And I need to use this change as a new gate to learn new things and build me as engineer and a one who has good communication skills
- I love working with a group, and enhance my ability to be social and communicative.
- In the UAE, it’s really hard to get a job easily, and most of the companies in the UAE are very selective about the engineers, so This opportunity will add a lot to me and will make me meet the high-level standards of the requirements to get a job.
- I have been always a productive and I don’t want to do nothing in summer, and I enjoy spending my time in things that are useful
- The University in China is one of the high-ranking universities in China and I’ll be able to discover a lot of engineering concepts and principles.
- I like working in labs because I think practical work will prepare me to be a successful engineer in the field
