Choose a change that you believe is necessary for your organization/department/team;
Organizational Change Project Due March 24
The purpose of this project is to apply/associate the concepts presented in the course to a true-to-life endeavor that entails organizational change.
The paper should be 800 – 1100 words, typed, double-spaced, one-inch margins, 12 font. The grading for this paper will include proper spelling, grammar, APA formatting, as well as the components above.
Your grade for the paper will be determined based on inclusion of the required elements, proper spelling and grammar, and general organization.
The project should include:
1. Choose a change that you believe is necessary for your organization/department/team;
2. Clearly articulate your vision (desirable future state);
3. Explain the forces driving that change;
4. Explore possible barriers to making the change;
5. Decide how organizational systems and culture will affect your change effort;
6. Discuss potential resistance to this change;
7. Develop a strategy for accomplishing the change, using Kotter’s eight-stage process;
8. Describe how you will influence others to support the change.
