When thinking about the question of global must be made and delivered local, we could include the continuing advances of technology supporting greater globalisation.

We could argue that the development of communication and technology has not only made business more aware of other cultures and is therefore adding to globalisation, but also that technology has changed many business processes and the way companies may conduct international business.

Does the group think that standardisation is key to increasing efficiency when thinking about technology or, how can technology help a business to customise its products or services? For example, how has the growth of social media contributed to changes in business processes?
