Discussion Forum,

For this Discussion Forum, please respond to each of the following:
Buddhists argue that the source of all suffering is desire (or, ignorant craving). This makes suffering a product of the mind, and one that can be eliminated with the elimination of desire. Is there such a thing as a kind of suffering that can not be traced back to a fundamental desire?
Also, what are some of the practical implications of living according to Buddhism’s Four Noble Truths? In other words, what would your life be like if you based all your actions on these Truths? Would you prefer a life like this compared to your life now? Why or why not?
