Thesis Statement: My success is not an isolated event, rather it is a process not devoid of pitfalls, scars and disappointments, but I choose to look out for the positive and kept my eyes on the prize.
Introduction
Background:
Draw the attention of my audience and set the tone for my address by passionately recounting the parable of the prodigal son and informing the guests that the narrative is a remote depiction of my life(Publishing, 1995).
Welcome all the guests present and appreciate them for the kind gesture they have displayed by showing up to celebrate my success.
Give a brief introduction on myself that highlights the significant aspects of my life like family, educational background and my socialsphere.
Thesis statement.
First Body Paragraph
Establish a connection between my present achievement and my past life experiences by alluding to the theme of goal setting.
1. Highlight the specific goals that I set.
