1. Connect/integrate the readings (Tagore, Tzu, Douglas) into a 5 page essay where you argue that all four authors exhibit a common trait, or all four books reflect on a common theme.
2. For example, Self-discipline, Overcoming obstacles and adversity, the real power of education, courage, injustice, motivation, family, society, religion, gender, race, liberation, freedom, etc ..
3. Write 5 full pages ( double spaced, 12 point font, MLA )
4. Write an introduction paragraph where you introduce your selected theme
5. In the body paragraphs, there should be 6, each with 4-10 sentences, showing your quotes in proper MLA — discuss their significance.
6. In the conclusion paragraph, you can reflect back on your thesis and on what it says about human nature, the world, society, etc.
7. Please have a catchy title – Education is not a title
8. The work cite page should list all four authors in proper MLA
9. The work cite page does not count as a page
10. Proofread so it is grammatically correct and error free.
