Short Reflection Essay

short reflection, 200 words minimum, on what you gained from the TAPP collaboration (a trans Atlantic project in which I wrote an English version of patient’s education on “Managing Cholesterol”, and the interpreter in Spain translated the material to Spanish).

At minimum, answer these questions:

• What did you learn about communicating with people from a different culture? Who speak a different language?
• What did you learn about translation?
• What did you learn about the Spanish language or Spanish culture?
• How can take you what you learned in the TAPP collaboration and apply it to your current and
future career?
• How does knowing how to work with people who speak different languages or come from different
cultures help you be a better health communicator and health professional?
