Argumentative Essay
Prompt: Pick one important current topic and show how the different media outlets are either slanting their reporting by means of over reporting, over reacting, dismissing as insignificant or outright falsehoods. (my topic is the killing of Qausem Soleimani)
Sources- need 5 sources, so a minimum of 5 footnotes, although you might very well have many more.
Whichever side you choose (you may choose which side my essay leans towards) read at least some of what the other side believes and include two points they make that seem valid, then refute them.
Remember for an argumentative essay terms like claim, claim evidence, counterclaim and refutation.
Paper needs to be 3 pgs, Font 12, double spaced, Times New Roman, 5 footnotes. No footnotes is a deduction of 75 points.
