Effective leader VS. Ineffective leader
Research ProjectFor the research project, you will research both an effective and ineffective leader from recent history. You will evaluate the importance of the history of leadership and gain an understanding of leadership theories, traits, styles, and behaviors.
In 4.3 – Research Project: Section 1 Deliverables you will submit an outline with references along with completing the first section of the eight major deliverables for the research project (related mainly to Chapter Two). This section’s deliverables include:
Title Page
The Five Models of Personality and Traits of Effective or Ineffective Leaders
Leader’s Theory X and Theory Y
Leader Ethics
References
Guidelines for completing your deliverables:
Each non-political leader must be or have been a business or world leader from 2000 to the present.
Provide three separate reasons (with referenced examples) to justify the reason the selected leaders were a positive (i.e., effective) or a negative (ineffective) leader.
Identify, compare, and contrast at least two different leadership styles of each selected leader. Be sure to add applicable leadership theories and concepts introduced in this course.
The written submission requires the components as outlined in the Research Project Content Outline section of this page. Review that section for complete details.
You must include at least three outside references for each leader, for a total of six (6) references (minimum) for the research project final written submission. The textbook may be used as a reference, but it will not count toward the six (6) required sources.
