The paper is about John F Kennedy and The Cuban missile crisis.
My thesis: this crisis shows how fragile human politics are and how the power of leadership can easily disturb the thin line between protection and self-destruction.

The major conflicts between the U.S. and the Soviet Union were considered to be one of the most serious and nerve bending situations during the Cold War, causing mass paranoia for each of the countries, forcing citizens into a constant state of fear due to the possibility of partaking in a fatal nuclear war. This created a worldwide universal tension between the concepts of democracy and communism. The situations leading to this crisis clearly show how fragile human politics are and how the power of leadership can easily disturb the thin line between protection and self-destruction.
