The importance of interdisciplinary psychiatric services, analyze and discuss
The purpose of the interprofessional discussion board is for students to understand the importance of interdisciplinary psychiatric services, analyze and discuss concepts.
Directions: Students will write a discussion about interprofessional collaboration and integrative
psychiatric care and services. For example, write about differences in interviewing methods,
psychotherapy techniques, therapeutic approaches, new treatment or a clinical pearl they learned either in
their clinical site or from researching in the University library database. For example, mental health licensed
practitioners may be clinical psychologists, counselors, therapists that specialize in specific areas of study,
animal assisted therapy, or alternative psychiatric evidence-based treatment such as transmagentic therapy.
