The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic requires mitigation strategies—actions that persons and communities can take to help slow the spread of the virus. Every community is different, and mitigation strategies will vary based on the level of community transmission, characteristics of the community, and the population (CDC, 2020).
The San Bernardino, California community will be used as the community throughout the course for real world assignments with population-focused, community-based care delivery.
